A Christmas Celebration in Song at Festival Hill!

PraiSingers, the popular choir from Travis Avenue Baptist Church in Fort Worth, Texas, directed by Dr. Bill Pearson, will present a Christmas holiday concert featuring over a dozen sacred and secular favorites. The program (listed below) includes medleys, White Christmas, Silver Bells and Silent Night, and features several vocal soloists. Formed over 20 years ago, the choir makes about fifteen appearances a year.

In 1994, they combined with two other choirs to give concerts in Carnegie Hall in New York City, and Morton Meyerson Theater in Dallas. In October 2009, the PraiSingers were featured for Senior Adult Week at the Glorieta Conference Center, Santa Fe, New Mexico. They were the feature choir for the "Christmas Celebration" in Branson, Missouri in 2010 and 2012. In 2012 they presented a concert for the Norvell Slater Hymn Sing at Dallas Baptist University.

The annual Open House at Festival Hill follows the concert in the Victorian-style Menke House.

Concert tickets will be held at the will call table on the West side of the concert hall. Doors open 1 hour prior to the concert. Tickets will also be available at the door.

Overnight accommodations are available on campus for this concert weekend.
