RTFI Alumni Among 2017 Faculty
Twelve Round Top Festival Institute alumni are among the faculty for the 2017 Round Top Music Festival. After having attended our Festival Institute, these alumni went on to establish successful careers in performance and education. They are returning to Round Top to work with young artists in residence as they study to enhance the skills they will need to further their careers--continuing 47 years of music education and performance at Round Top Festival Institute.

Brett Deubner, viola (1991) (RTFI Faculty 2012-2017) Aaron Copland School of Music at Queens College

Gary Jobe Ferguson, trumpet (1988-1991) (RTFI Faculty 2017). After a successful career with the State Orchestra of Mexico, Gary returns to Festival Hill as a performance coach.

Erin Hannigan, oboe (1993-1994) (RTFI Faculty 2007-2011, 2013-2017) Dallas Symphony Orchestra, Southern Methodist University

Raymond Riccomini, trumpet (1988-1990) (RTFI Faculty 2013-2017) Metropolitan Opera Orchestra, Mannes College of Music

Christiano Rodrigues, violin (2010, 2012-2013) (RTFI Faculty 2016-2017) Guest artist position with the Dubrovnik Symphony Orchestra, in Croatia; Master of Music degree from Rice University, where he studied with Paul Kantor
